Engineer Adam Rhodes - $500 per day x 4 days.
Studio and engineer booked for the 20th Dec 2017.
9 songs to record in total, 3 songs per day, 4th day mixing.
9 songs to be mastered at Jack the Bear Deluxe mastering studios, 5th of Jan 2018. $140 per song.

DESCRIPTION OF BAND
The Drive Thru Roses are a Melbourne based two piece featuring Dave Thomas on drums, guitar, vocals, bass, and Sharka Kulic on vocals and guitar. We write originals that could be described as indie, folk, psychedelic ambient rock and pop, jazz, caribbean afro cuban and with progressive elements such as poly rhythm and odd time signatures.
After we finish the album at Sing Sing
Our use of a 'high end recording' of our material will lead to us putting ourselves out to labels, managers, radio stations and all internet platforms with the intention of gigging and touring at every opportunity. Using a high production recording will represent who we are, for the audiences and for the music business side, to build us and include us more in their community. We believe that strong songs and a strong performance are the true factors that propel a band forward.
Sending our music to every possible station, manager and label that resonates with what we do will be the immediate action once we have a real musical product. We have high end equipment for touring ready to go - amps guitars and drums, and transport. We are casually employed in our 'day jobs', and are both studying a Bachelor of Music at AIM in Melbourne, and so we have the flexibility to go and tour for months at a time if needed.
We are experienced performers and thrive in connecting with live audiences.
We also have friends in the Australian film industry that have offered to put our music in their films, if it is of good audio quality.
This recording that we would get from using these funds would enable us to take up these offers. Having your music in film, really opens a mass audience once again, to look at your band.
